The Artifact Series turns iconic places into corrupted digital memories.
Each design begins with a recognizable landmark, then breaks it apart through the visual language of damaged files, failed scans, compression artifacts, missing textures, fragmented geometry, and degraded archival photography.
Stonehenge, Manhattan, Paris, Tokyo, Rome. Familiar places remain visible, but never fully intact. Structures dissolve into pixels, wireframes, scanlines, broken image data, and partially reconstructed forms, as if each location had been recovered from a failing archive.
Vintage film grain, matte color palettes, distressed textures, and imperfect print treatment give every piece the character of a damaged photograph or forgotten record rather than a clean digital image.
Each design is catalogued as an individual artifact within the series, preserving a place through distortion rather than accuracy.
